LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Delaware County Press Club!
As I begin my last season as president, I can look back over the past three seasons with pride that we were able to increase our Annual Award in Communications Excellence; present a variety of both informative media-related topics and entertaining speakers that appealed to both members and nonmembers; and develop new community partners.
The Board has exciting events scheduled for the 2023-2024 season. In addition to our luncheon programs, we’ve planned Happy Hours and hope to schedule a few Behind-the-Scenes Tours.
The Press Club has been a leader and valuable resource for journalists, broadcasters, writers, and marketing professionals since 1979. As the journalistic profession continues to change, we’re committed to mentoring future communicators. And as the free press comes under fire, we encourage young journalists to band together with like-minded professionals and support organizations like the Press Club that promote ethical behavior and the highest standards in communications.
